The Job Postings At US Embassy:
The title holder is responsible for coordinating and facilitating importation and exportation of household and personal effects (HHE), privately owned vehicles (POV), unaccompanied baggage (UAB), and U.S. Government equipment and supplies for the Department of State and other agencies. The position is in the General Services Office (GSO) under the supervision of the Shipment Supervisor.
Under the supervision of the Budget and Financial Specialist, the incumbent is responsible for receiving, verifying and processing employee and vendor claims according to the approved contracts, lease agreements, purchase orders, and local government and utility company agreements. Examines and reconciles vendor invoices for accuracy and ensures all invoices include required documents and authorizations prior to processing payment.
The incumbent reports directly to the Building Engineer Supervisor. The position holder is employed as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to accomplish skilled maintenance and repair work at the journeyman HVAC technician level, to International Building Code (IBC) standards, throughout all facilities on the New Embassy Compound/New Consulate Compound (NEC) to include office buildings, out buildings, ancillary structures, and residential owned/leased properties.
