The Embassy of Brazil in Accra, Ghana is accepting applications to fill 1 (one) full time position of Administrative Assistant at the Chancery, including the selection of candidates for future vacancies for the same role.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Handling documentation, records, and correspondence;
- Assisting in the preparation of reports and official communications;
- Secretariat activities of the Chancery
- Translations;
- Organization of diplomatic and cultural events;
- Administrative functions of the Embassy;
- Supporting financial and logistical operations;
- Providing administrative support to diplomatic staff;
Professional Requirements:
- Be proficient in written and spoken English. Proficiency in Portuguese will be considered an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with both Brazilian and Ghanaian staff in Planning, executing, and monitoring a wide range of functions;
- Computer skills, with knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and web-based applications

Legal Requirements Of The Role:
- Applicant must be at least 18 year of age.
- If you are not a Ghanaian, you must have the right to reside in Ghana and the legal right to take full- time paid employment in this country;
- Candidate should present a diploma or certificate of completion of Senior High School or, if applicable, higher education;
- You must be physically and mentally fit for the position. Prospects will be required to provide a Pre- Employment Physical note assuring that he/she is physically and mentally able to take on the duties of this position.

- The originals of all documents requested in items 4.1.ato 4.1 .f must be presented upon signing of the employment contract.
Benefits:
- Salary: GHS 13,600 per month (gross)

- After filling the form, Prospects are to submit the form together with all the required materials, exclusively in person at the Embassy of Brazil in Accra (1 Templesi Lane, Airport Residential, Accra)
- After successful submission, analysis of CVs will begin
- Applicants will take a written test on September 17
- After passing the written test, the next phase is interview and Practical Skills Assessment. This one is taking place on 18th September
- The final results will be announced on the Embassy’s website exactly a day after the the Interview and practical skills assessment.
