There is an Employment slot at Fides Group. They are looking for a committed IT Officer to ensure seamless IT operations and provide technical support across the organization.
Major Functions:
- Manage and maintain the organization’s IT systems, including hardware, software, and networks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Monitor system performance and implement updates or improvements as needed.
- Ensure data security through regular backups, antivirus updates, and compliance with IT policies.
- Provide technical support and training to employees to enhance productivity
- Collaborate with vendors to procure and maintain IT equipment and services
- Support the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
- Assist with the installation and configuration of new systems and applications.
Requirements:
- You must have a degree in information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in iT support or a similar role, with at least 12 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in network management, hardware maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, software applications, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
