Asante Gold, a reputable mining company, is seeking the service of a Data Entry and Material Staging Clerk.
As the incumbent, you are to support the maintenance department by accurately entering and managing equipment maintenance
Presiddata, work orders, inventory records, and equipment history logs. Additionally, you will make sure that all maintenance-related information is up to date, reliable, and readily accessible to support efficient maintenance planning and compliance with safety and operational standards in a mining environment.
Role Responsibilities:
- Enter daily maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and service records into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), such as Pronto, SAP, Infor EAM, or similar.
- Update equipment logs, downtime records, and maintenance histories for all mining machinery and plant assets.
- Assist in creating and closing workorders based on technician reports and supervisor instructions.
- Track spare parts usage and update inventory levels in the maintenance system.
- Review and verify maintenance data for accuracy and completeness.
- Compile reports on maintenance KPIs (e.g., MTTR, MTBF, equipment availability).
- Scan and archive paper maintenance records into digital filing systems.
- Coordinate with maintenance supervisors, planners, and stores personnel to resolve data gaps or inconsistencies.
- Ensure data is recorded in compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and audit requirements.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the maintenance team

Your Credentials:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or
Electrical Engineering or a related field of study from a recognized institution. - Prior experience in mining or heavy industry maintenance support is an advantage.
- Familiarity with CMMS platforms like SAP PM, Pronto, Oracle, or JDE is preferred.
- Fast and accurate data entry skills with
strong attention to detail. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and database systems.
- Basic understanding of mining equipment (e.g., haul trucks, loaders, drills, pumps, etc.) and maintenance terminology.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Reliability and teamwork in a high-risk environment.
