The African Center for Economic Transformation (ACET) is recruiting a National Service Personnel (NSP) – Communications to support its Communications, Knowledge Management and Advocacy team in Accra.
The one-year role offers practical experience in communications and digital content while supporting ACET’s work in economic transformation across Africa.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and scheduling social media content
- Creating digital materials using Canva
- Supporting Zoom webinars and online events
- Assisting with Mailchimp newsletters and event invitations
- Uploading publications and maintaining knowledge databases
- Monitoring media coverage and online engagement
- Supporting photography, video editing and other communications tasks
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Development Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field
- 1–2 years of relevant experience; internships and relevant volunteer work may be considered
- Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Experience with Canva and social media management tools
- Familiarity with WordPress, Mailchimp, Microsoft Office or video editing tools is an advantage
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid (on-site/remote) environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and with diverse stakeholders.
