CalBank PLC is inviting applications as part of its latest recruitment for the position of Relationship Manager – Commercial Banking. The role is available in Tamale, Ho, and Techiman and offers an opportunity to build strong customer relationships, grow business portfolios, and support the bank’s commercial banking operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, attracting new business, mobilising deposits, and delivering financial solutions that meet customers’ needs. The position also involves identifying lending opportunities, monitoring loan performance, cross-selling banking products, and working closely with internal teams to provide excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with the bank’s policies.
Key Responsibilities
The Relationship Manager will:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with commercial banking customers.
- Grow the bank’s deposit and loan portfolio.
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable financial products and services.
- Source and onboard new clients.
- Conduct preliminary credit assessments and monitor approved loan facilities.
- Promote cross-selling opportunities and deliver high-quality customer service.
- Ensure customer records and documentation comply with regulatory requirements.
General Requirements
Applicants should have:
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- At least three (3) years of relevant banking or relationship management experience.
- Strong communication, customer relationship, and business development skills.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and credit assessment abilities.
- A results-driven approach with the ability to achieve business targets.
