Here is a new job vacancy at Blue Financial Services Ghana Limited for the position of Accounts Officer. This is an entry level job and you will be reporting to the Senior Accountant.
Job Purpose:
Provide administrative support for the Finance Department by performing clerical tasks including processing and recording transactions, preparing reports and budget inputs, banking cash, performing customer and vendor liaison functions / communications, managing stocks and discharging with other duties, as needed.

Summary Responsibilities:
- Assisting with preparing statutory accounts
- Working with purchases ledgers and journals
- Recording and filling cash transactions
- Petty cash management
- Invoice processing and filing
- Processing expense requests
- Bank and creditors reconciliation
- Asset Register management
- Liaising with third-party providers, clients, and suppliers
- Filing and maintenance of transaction documentation
- Assisting with audits, record verification and resolving discrepancies
Qualification Required & Experience;
- Diploma / Degree in Accounting/Finance
- A professional accounting qualification will be an added advantage
- Minimum of 2 years of working experience in a similar role
- Previous experience with relevant accounting software is preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Proficient in Pastel or relevant accounting software
- Proficient with Microsoft Spreadsheet
- Competent at Bookkeeping
- High numeracy and problem-solving skills
- Meticulous and attentive to details
