Afia Schwarzenegger, a Ghanaian socialite, has been in the news for the past several days as a result of her late father’s star-studded funeral in Kumasi.
The actress stated that the funeral, which was attended by major politicians, actors, media figures, and other Ghanaian artists, costs a hefty GHS200000.
Afia used social media to thank some of her coworkers and businesses who came out to express support for the funeral, revealing that the total cost of the funeral is GHS200000.
She further revealed that Dr. Kwaku Oteng, a business tycoon, handed her about GHS60,000 for funeral expenses, as well as Fadda Dickson of Despite Media Group, who provided a significant sum.
Chairman Wontumi of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the Ashanti Region also stormed the funeral grounds and contributed GHS4,000.
Chairman Wontumi, dressed in a black kaftan and escorted by a team of NPP members, was met with applause from the other mourners, with many chanting his name.
On January 17, 2022, the actress’s father passed away. He was 80 years old at the time.

To show her support for Afia Schwarz, the East Legon Landlady and boss chick, as she is known, invaded the funeral grounds of her late father Augustine Adjei in Kumasi.
The mother of two couldn’t leave the funeral without displaying her wealth and giving guests a sense of who she is by liberally handing out high-value cedi notes to select attendees, including traditional dancers.
In a video posted online, the dancers can be seen forming a line to get money from Tracey Boakye, who brought out her purse and began handing out 50 cedis bills to the crowd.
