Burna Boy, a global sensation, has openly talked about his desire to pay Nigerian entertainment blogs in exchange for them to stop writing content on his activities.
He took to Twitter on November 3, 2023 to make this announcement. He told these platforms to collectively decide on an amount he can pay to get then to be silent on his matter.
In his tweet, Odogwu mentioned blogs like Instablog and PulseNg. He realized that he had not compensated them before and intended to rectify that.
Burna Boy’s request implies that he is bothered by the negative stories that are often written about him in the media.
Burna Boy was now in the news for turning down a $5 million performance offer in Dubai. He declined the lucrative deal due to the strict anti-cannabis regulations in the region.
In a video where he was freestyling with his band Outsiders, Burna Boy made some statements. “I just turned down Dubai money, $5 million is a small amount for me because I don’t like going to places where they won’t allow me to smoke.”
Burna Boy’s openness about wanting to pay off media outlets to stop writing/posting on his affairs describe the ordeal of most artists.
