Final-year students in Ghana looking for National Service opportunities for the 2026/2027 academic year can now apply for graduate internship positions with the Africa Climate Collaborative (ACC) Project at the University of Ghana.
The internship programme offers a chance for prospective National Service personnel to gain practical work experience while contributing to climate resilience, sustainability research, and green development initiatives across West Africa.
About the Africa Climate Collaborative Project
The Africa Climate Collaborative (ACC) Project at the University of Ghana is a climate resilience and sustainability initiative focused on research, capacity building, and youth empowerment.
The project seeks to equip young people with the skills and experience needed to support climate-resilient development, advance sustainability solutions, and promote green economic growth across the region.
Particular attention is given to empowering women, refugees and displaced youth, and persons with disabilities

Applications are invited from final-year undergraduate students from accredited universities in Ghana who have registered for National Service and possess academic backgrounds in any of the following areas:
- Data Analytics
- Mathematics
- Statistics
- Geography
- Computer Science
- Computer Engineering
- Finance
- Accounting
- Procurement
- Logistics
- Languages
- Social Sciences
- Environmental Sciences
- Communications
- Journalism
- Website Management
- Social Media Content Creation and Management
Requirements
Applicants should demonstrate:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A genuine interest in climate change and sustainability
