Calbank is hiring a Cards & E-Product Officer to support the development, rollout, and performance of our card and electronic banking products.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and onboard merchants for web-based card acquiring (Visa, MasterCard, UPI) to mobilize deposits.
- Build and maintain strong merchant relationships to drive growth, retention, and satisfaction.
- Conduct merchant site inspections and ensure all requirements are captured before onboarding.
- Collaborate with support teams to provide merchant training on service use, fraud prevention, and issue resolution.
- Work with branches and business units to promote and cross-sell web acquiring services.
- Perform competitor analysis, develop new offerings, and prepare regular performance reports.
Key technical skills/knowledge required:
- At least first Degree in Social Sciences, Humanities or related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of Banking experience in Customer and Merchant Relationship Management.
- Knowledge of Web Acquiring business management and electronic card products and platforms, mobile technology, and IT.
- Experience in Web Acquiring business management.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, research and analytical skills.
- Strong marketing and selling skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Good command over report writing
- Excellent computer knowledge with command on MS Excel among other packages of MS Office
- Ability to pay attention to details
- Experience in identifying fraudulent online transactions and handling online chargeback issues.
