Pep ‘congratulates’ Chelsea ahead of Champions League final

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has ‘congratulated’ Chelsea on winning the last two meetings against his side ahead of the Champions League final.

Chelsea under Thomas Tuchel have beaten Manchester City twice this season. They won 1-0 in the FA Cup semi-final and then a 2-1 scoreline in the Premier League at the Etihad early this month.

Earlier in the season Pep’s side brilliantly dispatched Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, but the Blues are pretty confident of making it three consecutive victories in Porto.

Asked about the two defeats ahead of Saturday’s final, Pep said he is not bothered about the results.
