Manchester United already have agreement in place to sign Sancho

Manchester United have revived their attempts to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund this summer.

After both parties failed to reach an agreement last summer, a move for the English forward could now be on the cards once again.

Fabrizio Romano has stated that whilst personal terms have been agreed, the main stumbling block at present is the transfer fee.

“Manchester United reached an agreement with Sancho’s camp on personal terms until 2026,” Romano posted on Twitter.

“Negotiations now starting with Borussia Dortmund. 95m euro price, NO agreement yet.

“Man Utd now feel Sancho ‘closer’, as Jan Aage Fjortoft said…”

Manchester United have seen their first official bid of approximately 65 million euros rejected by Dortmund, with this figure deemed to be far below their valuation of the player.

It appears as though this will not be United’s last offer, but they will have to increase their offer significantly, with the German club valuing the 21-year-old at 90m euros.

Sancho enjoyed a stunning season at Dortmund, registering 16 goals and 20 assists, and he will be looking to replicate this in an England shirt at Euro 2020.
