According to reports, the on-field event checking device was stolen during the match between Ghana and Nigeria on Tuesday, March 29, 2022. This was after Nigeria lost to Ghana in the World Cup 2022 qualification.
GTV, Ghana’s public broadcaster, first shared the news on its sports wing GTV Sports+’s Facebook page, including a snapshot of the scene before the game.

After holding Nigeria to a 1-1 draw, Ghana became the first African country to qualify for the 2022 World Cup, but this great feat and celebration was marred by fans causing violence at the stadium.
In a video that circulated on social media, some irritated fans who found it hard to accept the outcome the of the second leg of Ghana Vs Nigeria playoff took to the pitch to destroy items. As some people look on and took videos of the scene, others scattered things inside the stadium.
