The French Embassy in Ghana / Ambassade de France au Ghana is offering fully-funded Master’s scholarships to young, enthusiastic and innovation-inclined students, who are ready to take their education to the next level.
Eligible Fields of Study:
- STEM
- Mathematic
- ICST
- Health
- Environment and Sustainable Development
- Archaeology and Heritage studies
- Cultural and Creative Industries
- Agriculture and Food Industry
- French as a foreign language (FLE)
Prerequisites:
- Candidates should hold a Ghanaian nationality and be resident in Ghana
- You must be under 30 years old
- Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree that is acceptable for a masters program
- Priory will be given to prospects who have first class or second class upper divisions
- Must have completed your national service
- You should be committed to taking a full time master’s course in France for the 2025/2026 academic year (M1/M2)
- French fluency isn’t needed except for those studying FLE

- Curriculum Vitae (3 pages Max.)
- International Passport
- Admission letter from a French university
- Copies of full undergraduate transcripts
- Cover letter (detailing the student’s motivation and highlighting how the desired course will support the student’s career development – 1 page Max)
- Recommendation letters from your school
- Application form
- Documents describing the financial situation of the applicant (certificate of scholarship for studies in progress, pay slips or bank statements of students or parents)
How To Apply For The Scholarships In France
All those applying are required to send a combined pdf file of their entire application by mail to scac.accra-amba@diplomatie.gouv.fr
Ensure to name your documents in this format: Name-Surname_2025_Master.pdf
Application Calendar:
- 30th April, 2025: is the last day to apply
- From May to June 2025: Interview for scholarship recipients
- July 2025: As soon as selected, start of the visa application process.
- September/October 2025: Beginning of the 2025/2026 academic year, departure for France.
How To Combine All Documents And Convert To PDF Using Microsoft Word:
- Download and fill the form in word, type your cover letter in the same word document and insert other materials like passport, transcripts etc as pictures
- Arrange all the materials in a proper order and add page breaks where necessary
- When you are done with all arrangements, click on file at the tope left corner of the page, select export and then create PDF
