CYPRUS: Frederick University Scholarships 2021-2022

The Frederick University in Cyprus is offering twelve partial scholarships for Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes

The scholarships offer 50% tuition fees discount to eligible students. There are eight (8) scholarships for Bachelor’s degrees and four (4) scholarships for Master’s degrees available.

The Department of Higher Education and Training is the Nominating Agency for South African citizens who wish to apply for the scholarship programme for the academic year 2021-2022. Final selection and admission of students will be made by the Frederick University.

Deadlines

The deadline for applications is 31 May 2021.

The completed 2021 Frederick University Application Form and supporting documents are to be sent by email to internationalscholarships@dhet.gov.za.

Applications that meet the minimum eligibility criteria will be submitted for review and applicants may be requested to attend an interview on 10 June 2021.

Please note: An application fee of 25 EUR (approximately R428) is required.

 

Who can apply?

Applicants must:

– Have a strong academic record with a minimum 65% average on their Senior Certificate for entry into a Bachelor’s degree programme.

– Have a strong academic record with a minimum 65% average on their Bachelor Degree for entry into a Master’s degree programme.

– Meet the admission requirements of the programme as stated on the Frederick University website.

– Be proficient in English.

Various fields of study are available at the Frederick University for Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes.

What the scholarship offers

– 50% of tuition fees.

– The scholarship is renewable per semester based on a cumulative academic achievement of 66% for Bachelor’s and 76% for Master’s.

Please note: Successful scholarship applicants will have to make provision for living costs and all other related expenses not covered by the scholarship. The cost of living in Cyprus for students can be between 1000 EUR and 1300 EURper month.

To apply, download and complete the 2021 Frederick University Application Form . The completed form and the supporting documents should be emailed to internationalscholarships@dhet.gov.za.

– Completed and signed application form

– Copy of ID / passport

– Certified copies of all qualifications including the senior certificate

– Certified copies of transcripts

– English proficiency exams certificate (if applicable)

– Certificates of other academic and non – academic qualifications (if applicable)
