The Ghana Scholarship Secretariat wishes to announce for the information of interested students, the opening of the local scholarship portal for the 2025/2026 academic year. The effective opening date for opportunity is Wednesday, 30th July, 2025.
Requirements:
- Applicants must be citizens and residents of Ghana
- Candidate must had gained admission into a local tertiary institution or be already registered with the school for the programme.
- All applicants are to present their admission letters. Additionally, continuing students are to submit their academic transcripts
- Applicants from public universities and colleges must be at least level 200 to apply (Non beneficiaries of the “No fee stress*), while private university applicants can apply from level 100.

How To Apply For The Ghana Scholarship Secretariat Award
Phase 1
- All prospects are to visit This Portal
- Create an account to register
- Complete the application form and upload academic transcripts, admission letters and academic certificate.
Phase 2
- Complete an online aptitude test on a scheduled date within the application period.
Phase 3
- Qualified applicants would appear at selected MMDA for the selection interview
