The Bush Fellowship is a flexible, two-year program that supports individuals from various sectors in growing their leadership capacity and creating meaningful, community-driven change.
Criteria For The Bush Fellowship:
- By the deadline, you should be at least 24 years of age
- The program does not have any particular citizenship requirements
- Those applying should have lived in one of the mentioned regions for a minimum of 1 year continuously prior to your this application
- The ideal candidates much be willing to put every activities in their lives on hold for this program
- Depending on the change you are hoping to help make happen, you must be connected enough to the community impacted and knowledgeable about issues.
- Applicants should have interest in developing their leadership
- They are looking for people can use their leadership skills to help advance big ideas in their communities
- You should have a clear vision of what you will use the fellowship’s funds and time for
You Are Not Eligible If:
- You previously received a Bush Fellowship, Bush Artist program Bush Leadership grant, Bush Medical Fellowship or Enduring Vision Award.
- You are a relative of a board member or employee of the Bush Foundation. (A spouse, parent, grandparent, great grandparent, kid, grandchild, great grandchild, and the spouses of these individuals) are considered family members.

Benefits:
- Up to 30 fellows are chosen to receive financial support of up $150,000 over two years to grow their capacity, knowledge and network to lead.
