Applications for postgraduate (masters) programmes are being accepted by the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) in order to provide foreign scholarships for deserving students in the 2024–2025 academic year. The trust fund will begin accepting entries starting from June 3, 2024.
Eligibility:
- Only Ghanaians are allowed to take this award
- Applicants must have obtained an admission onto a masters or undergraduate – Medicine only (Eastern Europe or Asia)
- You must be ready to start your studies by the academic year of which you seek funding
- Other academic requirements include:
- Previous academic transcript
- Previous academic certificates
- Admission letter from an accredited university
- Fee schedule
- Project or research proposal not exceeding 5 pages

Ineligibility:
- You are not eligible if you have previously benefited from the GETFund foreign scholarship and you are applying for the same award category again (Masters & PhD)
- If you are currently undertaking a master’s or PhD program at the time of application, you are not allowed to apply
