Through gender responsive education upscaling, the African Union CIEFFA and ImpactHER have partnered to host an online capacity building course on skills development and access to STEAM. With a focus on STEAM, digital literacy, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship, this workshop aims to solve the issues that young women and men in Africa face. Additionally, it aims to improve the ability of female educators to effectively teach STEAM and digital literacy.
Criteria:
- You must be an African
- Hold an African citizenship residing on the continent or anywhere in the world.
- Have the ability to demonstrate the motivation to learn digital and entrepreneurial skills as well as financial literacy
- Show proven leadership abilities, aspirations and commitment to promote girls and women’s education
- Have access to a good internet connection and a function device (laptop, tablet or smartphone)
- Have a clear understanding of one of the following training languages
Benefits:
- You will get a certificate in each of the following programs: Digital Skills, Entrepreneurial Skills and Financial Literacy. To acquire these certificates participants need to attend at least 80% of the training courses per program to be eligible
- Gain knowledge in Gender equality in and through Education, Digital Skills, Entrepreneurial Skills and Financial Literacy.
- Access to a fully funded online training
- Increase chances of getting invited to in person activities by AU
- Be part of African Union CIEFFA network and ImpactHER network.
