In a fresh headline, Olanrewaju Kolawole, a man from Osun State, Nigeria, was puzzled after the paternity test (DNA) of his four children turned out to be negative.
He shared this news during an interview with Oriyomi Hamzat on Agidigbo 88.7 FM in Ibadan.
Kolawole had from the onset conducted a DNA test on one of his children, which produced negative results, motivating him to test the remaining three. All four tests, conducted at the DDC DNA Diagnostic Center in Osogbo, confirmed they were not biologically related to him.
Torn and confused, Kolawole appealed for help. Kolawole implored Nigerians to support him in this trying time. “I must not suffer this in vain”, he proclaimed.
He married Toyin in 2007, believing he was the father of all four children, only to find out otherwise through the DNA test results.
His wife, Toyin Tella, contested the DNA results and doubted the testing process’ authenticity. She noted that the children are indeed for her husband, Kolawole, and refused to accept the test outcome.
Their marriage, which began in 2007, is now clouded with uncertainty as they grapple with this paternity issue.
