Most National Service (NSS) Personnels have expressed their concern and worries after being surprised with “no funds to be loaded” on their E-zwich cards at this time of the month.
This wasn’t quite expected because for the past months, the NSS allowance comes at least at the end of each month or few days after the month ends but things turned out to be different for this month.
Payment has not yet been effected and Personnels are complaining. This has become a worrying situation for these service personnels because they need the money for feeding and other expenditure.
When will the National Service (NSS) July, 2021 Allowance be paid?
The National Service allowances for July, 2021 is hinted by the Executive Committee of the National Service Personnel Association (NASPA) to be paid to service personnels on Thursday God willing.
Although the above declaration have been made, for now, EverydaynewsGH can not give the exact date for the payment unless they are actually paid. For sure, what we know is that the payment will be effected to NSS Personnels so Personnels will have to be patient and wait for monies to be paid to their account then they can go and cashout.
Meanwhile, All personnel can continue to check their NSS portal for the update on their payment from Thursday. Once the monies are being paid, it will show on their portal.
Cause of the delay
Below are some reasons that may have caused the delay in payment for July, 2021.
The cause of the delay in payment of allowance “maybe” because funds have not been released for the payment by the appropriate stakeholders. This has been somewhat confirmed by the NASPA Executive Committee which can be seen here.
Also, causes of delay could be because there exist some challenges at the secretariat which are being worked on by the management and causing the delay in the payment of the allowance.

What of those of us who have not received allowance for June? Hope it will be added to the July payment.
Although It could be added to the July payment, there are a few factors which could account for such delay which you need to verify before;
On your NSS dashboard or portal, you need to check to see if your monthly evaluation for June is successfully submitted.
If not submitted, you have to contact your district NSS office for them to do so before payment can be released.
If submitted, there’s a high chance of you being paid together with that of July.
All the same, you have to still contact your district NSS office as soon as possible on this issue for them to explain solve it for you.
