An MTN user has recently lamented on how the telecommunications network has become so Expensive; “I spend 50 cedis on calls daily”- words of the worried MTN User.
The MTN user on Facebook bears the name Isaac Frimpong. He has taken to the App to chastise MTN Ghana following their expensive prices in packages in recent times.
According to him, MTN Ghana has become increasingly expensive recently compared to some few months ago citing MTN mashup as a case study.
To him, 10ghc MTN mashup could fetch one 320 minutes to call friends and family, but now it’s only 125 call time.
He, therefore, threatened to boycott the MTN Ghana network and prayed that majority of Ghana to do the same thing so that MTN Ghana will do the needful
His full post reads;
“Why MTN has become so expensive lately??.. At first, 10gh mash-up gives 320 minutes but now it’s 125 call time. Why why MTN Ghana.
“At first too, free after one was 21 pesewas but now 29 pesewas.. Where from this sudden hijack?? And with this high tariff their network will continue to be messing up and hung up calls immediately you surpass the 1min.
“As it stands, if care isn’t taken, one can spend 50ghc daily just on just calls.
I pray majority of their subscribers switch to other networks to teach them a great lesson. What sort of bully and cheating is this??
