MOBILE MONEY is a money sending system mostly used in Ghana especially with MTN dubbed “MOMO”.

It is a normal trend for the youth especially when you are a man, to spend in your relationship before it can stand.

The spending comes in different forms as you have to take the lady out on a date, buy her gifts, etc. This is done to make sure the lady stays in the relationship and doesn’t give an eye to another man. Some ladies of today have also decided to use that as an advantage to take money from some guys.

Some of which, they announce their visit; you need to give them transportation money after which when given, they do not show up. And this keep happening most of the time.

Chief inspector Amoah has explained that if a lady tells you to send her transport money and doesn’t visit and does not refund the money, she can be dealt with according to the Ghana criminal code.

This is with reference to the act 29 section 132 of the Ghana criminal code for defrauding by false pretense.
