Ghanaians were worried about the health status of the Gyal Dem Sugar, Kidi. Earlier this year, rumors spread that the award-winning Afrobeat act was battling with stroke and liver cancer.
Nonetheless, the musician’s management team released a statement on Twitter to dispute the reports. This was later confirmed by a series of videos as well which seemingly confirmed the Singer was in good health.
KiDi later came out to explain that he did not have a stroke. However in a song titled “I lied” the Lynx Entertainment signee made certain statements that gave the impression that he has a liver problem. Therefore, his fans concluded that he is sick from a liver disease.
In a very recent interview on Lynx’s Stipped By Sika Osei show, KiDi has finally spoken sincerely about his health status. He categorically stated that he doesn’t have a stroke or liver problem. He explained that, he was only stressed out and a bit disconnected from what he loves to do (music). Therefore he needed to take a break.
The musician expressed his surprise at how people believed the rumors and reiterated that he is doing fine.
Fans of KiDi can now breathe a sigh of relief and continue to enjoy his music as long as the man himself has updated them on his health status.
