The Obama Foundation is glad to announce the opening of its 2026/2027 leaders training program. This is a six-month hybrid program for individuals in the public sector, civil society, and the private sector who demonstrate a commitment to bringing positive change.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be between the ages of 24 to 45 by 1st September, 2026
- To be considered, you must be a citizen or resident or refugee or asylum seeker of an eligible country or territory.
- Residents of eligible regions must have lived there for at least the last 5 years, regardless of citizenship or permanent residence status.
- Candidates must has relevant experience in their issue area
- You shouldn’t be under no legal or regulatory restrictions that would limit your participation in virtual Foundation programming or travel to the US for in-person programming (if any).
- Applicants must be able to use the English language professionally
- Prospects must demonstrate a commitment to continue to focus on work in their area.
- You must avoid engaging in an electoral campaign as a candidate for political office from the time you are accepted into the program until May 1, 2027.
