Newmont Ghana is offering an exciting employment opportunity to join its team as an Analyst, Process & Mining Applications, where you will play a key role in supporting and improving critical mining systems while driving efficiency, reliability, and continuous improvement.
Your Impact
As an Analyst, Process & Mining Applications, you will play a hands-on role in supporting and improving mining and process systems. You’ll ensure these applications are functional, secure, and reliable through testing and quality assurance.
You will also provide technical support, gather user feedback, and turn it into improvements—while maintaining clear documentation to keep systems running at their best.
What You’ll Do
- Support, configure, and maintain mining/process applications to meet business needs
- Perform system testing, validation, and quality assurance
- Provide technical support and resolve user issues
- Gather feedback to improve digital data services
- Maintain clear and detailed application documentation
- Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and operations teams
- Work with operational teams and third-party vendors
- Assist with project tasks such as budgeting, reporting, and forecasting
- Contribute to a safe, collaborative, and high-performance team environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related field
Experience
- Minimum of 3–5 years experience in technology support
Knowledge & Expertise
- Strong experience in Mining/Process Operations Technology (OT) support
- Ability to solve problems, make decisions, and drive improvements
- Experience with systems such as fleet management, production reporting, planning, geology, or processing tools
Technical Skills
- Troubleshooting, data analysis, and basic coding/scripting
- Experience working with APIs and system integrations
- Project management skills (budgeting, reporting, cost control, forecasting)
- Strong understanding of IT Service Management
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills
People & Team Skills
