Positions Available:

1. Underground Senior Mechanic

Develop, modify and install equipment required for the underground operations
Attend to maintenance issues on time to minimize down time and potential production loss
Lead teams and report breakdown and defects on equipment to the supervisor
Provide inspection checklist and field documentation

2. Underground Blastman

Ensure that all statutory requirements associated with the mining operation are adhered to in full compliance with the Mining Act and other related regulations of the Republic of Ghana.
Ensure working area is safe for personnel and equipment to perform duties.
Must be conversant with ventilation circuit, firing procedure including electric firing and re-entry procedures.
Prepare reports and complete all documentation for charge-up and blasting at the end of shift.

3. Raise Miner

Fix chains for escape ways
Transport escape way tubes and install materials to and from underground work areas
Transport raise machines, pusher legs and accessories to and from underground work areas
Drill and blast stope raises.

4. Jumbo Operator

Assess ground conditions at the face and implement ground controls as per the site requirements.
Accurately drill the required number of patterns using mechanized electric hydraulic jumbo drill suitable for ground conditions.

Use the appropriate mining equipment to drill holes to design lines, gradient and profile.

Optimize drill patterns to ensure that maximum advance per round is achieved whiles maintaining strict adherence to design specifications with minimal over break.
