Functions:
Working as the Freight Forwarding & Logistics Manager you will:
- Oversee the efficient movement of goods, coordinating shipments, customs compliance, and transportation logistics
- Optimize supply chain operations, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely delivery while controlling costs.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration,
Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. - Minimum of 8-10 years in freight forwarding, customs management, or logistics, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Relevant professional certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., Certified International Freight Forwarder, CSCMP, or FIATA Diploma)
- It is good to be adept with logistics softwares, data analytics and automation tools that can enable operations and increase efficiency
- Ability to anticipate problems and come up with strategies essential for managing complexities especially when working with a tight schedule
- Flexible and able to work with in a changing environment
- Great communicator
- Maintain good relationship with clients and ensure high level of customer satisfaction
