Cardinal Namdini Mining is glad to announce the opening of a new career opportunity They are hiring a Warehouse officer to work in the Supply Chain management department in Bolgatanga. You will directly report to the Senior Warehouse officer.
Job Purpose
To achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring the quantity and quality of goods for Namdini warehouse.
Primary Duties:
- Ensures inventories are accurate and control inventory levels by ensuring physical counts are conducted and reconciled with the system balance regularly.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Conduct proper checks and ensure goods received are in good condition.
- Ensure the relevance and accuracy of all documentation relating to goods received and goods dispatched including labelling of all stock items.
- Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees’ performance.
- Organize and maintain inventory and storage area.
- Maintain items record, document necessary information, and utilize reports to project warehouse status.
- Identify areas of improvement and establish innovatively or adjust existing work procedures and practices.
- Ensure efficient and effective use of Warehouse space to include layout and bins for proper planning.
- Assisting in the procurement, contract management, logistic management work of the SCM department.
- Perform any other related duties based on the exigencies of the Company as assigned by the Supervisor
Required Qualification, Skills or Experience
- B.Sc. degree, HND in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
5 years of experience of warehouse officer or in a similar position. - In-depth Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS
- Proficient in data collection and analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Officer
- Be familiar with SAP warehouse management function.
- Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data.
- Competent Leadership and Conflict Management
- Competent interpersonal relations
