Caldor Africa Ltd is inviting job applications from qualified graduates for a Logistics & Operations Graduate Trainee position at its site in Pretea, Kwekutia-Krom, Ahanta West and Western Region, Ghana. The company is also open to graduates seeking a National Service placement in logistics and operations.
This opportunity is suited to recent graduates who want practical exposure to warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, dispatch, documentation and reporting. Successful candidates will work closely with the Ghana management team and communicate with UK-based directors, providing valuable experience in an international business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
The trainee will assist with:
- Preparing waybills, dispatch notes and shipment records.
- Maintaining warehouse and inventory records.
- Supporting stock logging, labelling and coordination.
- Liaising with drivers and logistics personnel.
- Preparing routine reports using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Organising documents for audits and compliance.
- Inspecting trucks before and after deliveries.
- Providing operational updates to management.

Requirements
Applicants should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
- Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
- Good organisational, communication and time-management abilities.
- A proactive, reliable and professional approach to work.
- Willingness to work in or relocate near Takoradi/Pretea.
The trainee placement will run for six months, with potential for permanent employment. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
