1. Data Science

Requisites:

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree: Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data analytics, or a closely related discipline.
• Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python, R, or other data science languages like SQL, Java, Scala, etc.
• Data Manipulation and Analysis: Experience with libraries like pandas, NumPy (Python), or dplyr, ggplot2 (R) for data cleaning, transformation, and analysis.
• Statistics and Probability: Understanding of statistical concepts like hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and probability distributions.
• Machine Learning Fundamentals: Familiarity with machine learning algorithms, model building, and evaluation techniques.
• Data Visualization: Ability to create clear and informative visualizations to communicate insights from data.
• Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Ability to approach problems analytically, identify patterns in data, and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication to present findings and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Curiosity and Learning Agility: Eagerness to learn new things, adapt to new technologies, and explore innovative solutions.

2. Data Engineering

Education, Competencies & Technical Skills:

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree: Computer Science
• Must Understand the SQL language
• Must have a general understanding of Database Technologies (Oracle, SQL Server)
• Must have an advanced knowledge of Ms Excel
• Must know at least one programming language (Python, C#, Javascript)
• Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Ability to approach problems analytically, identify patterns in data, and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication to present findings and collaborate effectively with team members.

3. Research 

Credentials

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in economics, Statistics, Finance, Business Administration or a closely related field
• Proficiency or willingness to learn Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)
• A strong desire to learn and understand macroeconomic indicators, data trends and industry dynamics
• Proficiency or willingness to learn some coding skills such as Python, R 
• Ability to formulate research questions, gather and analyze data, and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Ability to collate accurate data from various data sources
• Ability to create clear and informative visualizations to communicate insights from data
• Communication Skills: Good communication and presentation skills
• Curiosity and Learning agility: Eagerness to learn new things, embrace emerging technologies, and explore innovative solutions
• Planning and Organizing: Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines effectively
