Shatta Wale Shares His Biggest Regret In Life (Video)

Shatta Wale

Shatta Wale, a celebrated Dancehall artist from Ghana, has open up on his greatest regret in an interview with BBC News Africa. Funny enough his regrets have nothing to do music but rather his unfulfilled dream of pursuing a career in law.

Notwithstanding the fact the he has a strong passion for music, he confessed to harboring a long-standing desire to become a lawyer and disclosed his ongoing plans to take this career path in the future.

He stated, “I’m trying; when I make enough money, I will become a lawyer.”

The interview also included Shatta Wale’s ideas on various topics like his favorite song and food. When asked to choose between love and money, he pragmatically opted for money, “Love doesn’t pay the bills” he publicized.

As for his favorite lyrics, he cited Vybz Kartel’s “Mansa Musa Money,” while his beloved food was Kenkey. He even educated us on the historical tidbit of Kenkey’s and how vital it was in times of conflict in Ghana.

This up-close interaction with Shatta Wale painted a vivid picture of  artists’ ambitions beyond music.
