Ghanaian Sensational Musician, Black Sherif, known formerly as Mohammed Ismail Sherif has recently revealed to the public the whereabouts of his parents especially, the Popular “Auntie Marie”.
Black Sherif stated as part of what he was saying that “My mother, Auntie Marie has been in Greece since I was 9”.
But where did this all begin?
Black Sherif was present at GhOne TV’s morning show in an interview with Serwaa Amihere.
The musician’s original goal was to promote his Second Sermon single, which included Burma Boy, but the conversation quickly went to his parents.
The young musician was asked to tell his fans the whereabouts of his parents during the interview with Serwaa Amihere on GhOne TV’s morning show.
He stated that his mum is not dead as people perceive at times.
Black Sherif also stated that his mother, Auntie Marie, is still alive and can be found in Greece, as well as his parents, who are proud of his musical accomplishment. He added that his mother, Auntie Marie has been in Greece since he was 9 years old.
“My mum is not dead, she is in Greece,” he responded in response to the query.
Black Sherif disclosed that Sister Mariama in his second sermon is a loving cousin who unfortunately died while observing the dawn prayers.
He then added that he mentioned her name (Sister Mariama) in the second sermon song to pay a glowing tribute to her memory.
He stated that after completing his Senior High School Education, he was urged to join his parents in Greece but he decided to stay in Ghana to pursue his dreams as a musician.
Behold, in just a few years, time Black Sherif is now a Superstar in Ghana and beyond.
The young act recently has released hits upon hits and has successfully collaborated currently with Nigeria’s Burna Boy on his second sermon track.
Black Sherif is a student at the University of Professional Studies and he is in level 200 student. He is really working hard in music alongside studies.
