Kuami Eugene’s former house help, Mary, has given us more details to her experiences while working for the highlife musician.
In an interview with Der Madking TV, Mary disclosed instances where she collapsed due to an inadequate access to food and other undisclosed reasons during her stay at Kuami Eugene’s residence.
Mary claimed that she had informed Kuami Eugene about her condition before one of the collapses. According to her, he only sent money for drugs, not letting her to seek proper medical care.
Regardless of the fact that Kwami was outside the country at the time, he sent funds for blood tonics and vitamins, which proved ineffective in curbing the severity of the situation.
Mary recounted that her circumstance worsened at night. She included that it compelled her to seek help from a neighbor, who eventually rushed her to the hospital.
She advanced that sometimes, there was inadequate or unavailability of food supplies. The house help also mentioned the stress she goes through to obtain money for necessities in Kuami Eugene’s absence.
Tackling the criticisms she got for speaking out, she explained that all her claims are truthful. She uttered her conviction that God knows she is not lying.
As of now, Kuami Eugene has not told his side of the story. After Mary’s first exposé, he posted an indirect response on Twitter.
Kuami’s tweet was ‘Nipa bi y3 cobra,’ an Akan phrase which means ‘Some humans are snakes.’
