Hajia bintu, is a personality who became popular on social media through Tiktok due to her shaking her big aśś.
Hajia Bintu after rising to fame on TikTok, is now an influencer and has supported with her fame, some brands in Ghana.
She is trending because of a current advertisement she is promoting for Twellium Company. She is promoting a new brand of biscuits named “The London Oats Digestive Biscuit”. This advertisement has however, caused a backlash for Hajia Bintu and the Twellium Company.
Why is Hajia Bintu Suffering a Backlash?
Most netizens are ranting on Hajia Bintu because they believe she turned out to be the wrong influencer for the product because of the scenes in the advertisement and its purpose.
At a point in the advertisement, she turned to show her backside, an act which most people see it to be wrong since the biscuits being promoted is also targeted towards kids hence, could leave a wrong impression to the latter.
According to many, although she is known for showcasing her heavily endowed backside, she was supposed to know where and when to shake them.

Why is Twellium Ghana Suffering a Backlash?
They are suffering a backlash because they are the company behind the advertised product and they are the ones who went in for TikTok influencer. As stated by many on Twitter, the company should have played a role in the actions of the influencer in the advertisement.
Secondly most people suggested that if only the advertisement was targeted to kids, DJ Switch should have been the better choice for promoting the brand and not Hajia.
Effect of the Backlash
As a result of the backlash and concern by most Ghanaians, the Twellium Company has taken the advertisement off all their social media handles. Much is anticipated on their next move on this matter.
