Ghanaian Actress and Film Producer Yvonne Nelson has expressed her dissatisfaction with the current NPP Government and has expressed little to no optimism for the future.
Yvonne Nelson has stated that Believing in the NPP Government, which is the ruling government is like believing it will one day snow in Ghana.
With the geographical location and climate pattern of Ghana in mind, it will be impossible for a lay man to have a guess that it will naturally snow in the country. With the recent happenings in the country where citizens keep expressing dissatisfaction with taxes, strikes, increments, etc., Yvonne Nelson has made this statement to inform the public not to have hope in the current administration.
It will be dishonest for anyone to have faith in the Nana Addo-led government at this juncture in Ghana’s growth, she claims, because everything appears to be falling apart.
Yvonne Nelson, who was formerly outspoken and spoke truth to power, stated on social media (Twitter) that Ghanaians should not place their hopes in the administration because nothing will change in the near future hence, her statement.
Yvonne Nelson tweeted, “Believing in this government is like believing it will snow in Ghana”
