• 6-Year Medicine (MBChB) (This programme is for only WASSCE  candidates with Elective Science subjects)

SCHOOL OF ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES (SAHS)

• 6-Year Doctor of Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS.D)
  Admission / Entry Requirement
  Applicants to the 6-Year Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science (MLS.D) degree must have Credit in the THREE WASSCE core subjects: English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science plus credits in THREE WASSCE electives: Biology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics).
• 4-Year BSc (Community Nutrition) (This is a science-based programme for WASSCE holders). Home Economics candidates are also eligible to apply.
• 4-Year BSc Medical Imaging Technology) (This is a science-based programme for WASSCE holders). Home Economics candidates are not  eligible to apply.

SCHOOL OF NURSING AND MIDWIFERY

• 4-Year BSc (Nursing) (for WASSCE holders) Candidates with business subjects are advised not to apply for Nursing. Only Pure Science, Agricultural Science, Arts or Home Economics candidates are eligible to apply
• 4-Year BSc (Midwifery) (for WASSCE holders) Candidates with Business subjects are advised not to apply. Only Pure Science, Agricultural Science, Arts or Home Economics candidates are eligible to apply.

SCHOOL OF PUBLIC HEALTH

4-Year BSc (Health Information Management) (for WASSCE holders) This is a science-based programme. Other candidates with Business subjects, Agricultural Science, Arts or Home Economics are also eligible to apply

HOW TO APPLY FOR UDS ADMISSIONS

Ghanaian Applicants

All Ghanaian applicants for the 2021/2022 Academic Year admissions are required to use the UDS online application portal. The procedure for the online application process is as follows:

1. Make a payment of GH¢ 180.00 (One Hundred and Eighty Ghana Cedis) for the UDS E-Voucher at any GCB Bank, Prudential Bank, Zenith Bank, Agricultural Development Bank (ADB), Stanbic Bank National Investment Bank (NIB) and Ecobank branches throughout the country.
2. The E-Voucher contains the PIN, and Serial Number required for the completion of the online form.
3. Access the online form by visiting our online admissions portal at uds.edu.gh soon after payment.
4. In completing the online form, students will be required to upload their most recent passport size photographs with white background and relevant certificates. Applicants who use objects instead of their own photographs would be disqualified.
5. A completed form will not be considered for admission unless it is SUBMITTED after accepting our data confirmation policy
6. Applicants are advised to check thoroughly all details entered before finally submitting their online applications. A form, once submitted, can only be viewed, but cannot be edited.
7. Candidates are strongly advised to visit any EMS Office in the Country for assistance towards the return of the application documents (see viii). Applicants are advised not to post the forms themselves. They should seek the advice and services of Ghana Post EMS.
8. Applicants must print out application summary; attach results slips, certificates and all other relevant documents. These documents should be submitted in triplicates (three copies each) to the Deputy Registrar (Academic Affairs Section).
