The Ferguson Scholarship supports students who would otherwise not be able to study in the UK. It is funded by the Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust, committed to expanding global educational access. For 2026, theee (3) scholarships are available.
Funding Package For The Ferguson Scholarship
Selected candidates will receive:
- Full tuition fee coverage worth £22,500
- £6,000 contribution toward living costs
- This opportunity is meant for the 2026/27 academic year
Eligible Programmes
Applicants must apply to ONE of the following postgraduate taught courses at Aston University.
- MSc Pharmaceutical Sciences
- MSc Drug Delivery
- MSc Pharmacokinetics
- MSc Stem Cells & Regenerative Medicine
- MSc Biotechnology
- MSc Psychology (Conversion programme)
- MSc Neuroscience for Drug Discovery
- MSc Addiction and Mental Health
- MSc Bioinformatics and Genomic Medicine
- Master of Public Health (MPH)
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, you must:
- Hold a conditional or unconditional offer for an eligible course
- Be a national of an African country or India
- Hold a 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
- Be a self-funded student
- Not be referred by an agency (such applications are not eligible)
Note: Successful applicants must also provide evidence for UKVI showing ability to support living costs.
