We bring to you the GREAT scholarships. For the 2024-25 academic year, a total of 210 scholarships are available from 71 universities in England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. Students from carefully selected 15 countries stand a chance of winning this bursary.
This partial award is a collaboratively funded by the UK government’s GREAT Britain Campaign and the British Council.
Mandates:
- Eligible regions for this possibility are: Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Ghana, Greece, Kenya, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey, Vietnam
- You must hold an undergraduate or a bachelor’s degree
- Candidates should be applying for postgraduate degrees in a participating university for this funding campaign
- Students should meet the English proficiency requirements as well as the the UK Higher Education Institution (HEI).
- Applicants should be willing to act as ambassadors for the UK’s higher education system and share their experiences and values
- When you become an alumni, you should be ready to speak to prospects about your personal experience schooling in the UK
Funding Benefits:
- You will be awarded an amount of £10,000 as contribution to the payment of the tuition cost of your one year postgraduate education
- As a GREAT Scholar you will be treated to a welcome event where you will socialize with fellow scholars
- You get the opportunity to study in a high ranking UK school at a subsidize fee
