CATEGORY A
General Duties
1. Graduate Entry
Eligible applicant must
- be a Ghanaian citizen by birth with no criminal record
- possess a first degree from an accredited university not below second class lower (division). have completed National Service.
- be of a minimum age of 18 years and not more than 35 years by 1st November, 2025. be physically and medically fit.
- be of good character. not be bonded by any organization.
- should not have been dismissed by any public service institution.
- have a minimum height of 1.68m (5ft 6inch) for males and 1.57m (Sft 2inch) for females.
CATEGORY B
General Duties
1. Non-Graduate Entry (Recruits)
You are eligible of you have/are
- HND/DIPLOMA/WASSCE or SSSCE
- a Ghanaian citizen by birth with no criminal record.
- SSSCE/WASSE Certificate with at least five (5) credits including English and Mathematics
- a minimum age of 18 and not more than 32 years by 1st November, 2025
- be physically and medically fit. be of good character.
- not be bonded by any organisation.
must not have been dismissed by any public service institution. - have a minimum height of 1.68m (5ft 6inch) for Males and 1.57m (5ft 2inch) for females.
CATEGORY C – MEDICAL
1. Doctor
- Must possess MD CHB from a recognized university
- Must be registered with the Ghana Medical & Dental Council
2. Nurses
- Should possess Nursing certificate from a recognized institution
- Must be registered with the nursing and midwifery Council of Ghana
3. Psychologist
- Have relevant professional qualification and be registered and licensed by the Ghana Psychology Council.
4. Pharmacist
- Possess a minimum of first degree from an accredited university and the relevant professional qualification.
- Be registered and licensed with the Pharmacy Council of Ghana.
5. Physician Assistant
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in physician assistantship (medical/clinical from an accredited institution.
- Be registered and licensed with the Medical and Dental
Council of Ghana.
CATEGORY D – RELIGIOUS AFFAIRS
1. Ordained Minister or Chaplain
- Have at least a first degree in Theology. Be of good standing in a Christian denomination approved by any of the following bodies; the Ghana Catholic Secretariat, the Christian Council of Ghana, the Pentecostal Council of Ghana or other recognized Christian Bodies.
2. IMAM
- First degree in Islamic Studies with an excellent Knowledge in Arabic.
- Be of good standing in a Muslim denomination approved by any of the following bodies, the office of the National/ Regional Chief imam, the office of the Ameer of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission or other similar nationally recognized Muslim bodies.
CATEGORY E
Tradesmen/Artisans – General Requirements
- Be a Ghanaian citizen by birth with no criminal record.
- Hold a BECE certificate or WASSCE/SSSCE or NVTI, COVET, City&Guilds, or Technical Certificate in the relevant field from an accredited institution
- Be of at least 18 years or age and not more than 35 years by 1st November, 2025.
- Be physically and medically fit.
- Be of good character.
- Not be bonded by any organsation.
- Have a minimum height of 1.68m (5ft 6inch) for males and 1.57m (5ft 2 inch) for females.
1. ESTATES & PROJECTS
a. Masons
- A minimum of two (2) years practical experience in building or construction work.
- Must have practical knowledge and experience in building. repairing, and maintaining concrete and block structures.
- Ability to lay blocks and bricks, mix mortar accurately, and perform plastering and, tiling
- Must understand building measurements, levelling, and basic site preparation.
- Familiarity with construction safety procedures, use of hand tools, and reading simple building plans or sketches is essential.
- Experience in minor plumbing, concrete casting, or floor finishing will be an added advantage.
- Experience working on public buildings, barracks, or institutional projects is an added advantage.
- Applicants who have served as construction artisans or site hands in recognized organizations are encouraged to apply.
b. Electricians
- Must have practical knowledge and experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Must be able to:
- Install and maintain wiring, lighting, sockets, and power systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in buildings and equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical panels, switches, and generators. - Use electrical tools, testers, and multimeters.
- Understand electrical safety codes, wiring diagrams, and load distribution.
- Knowledge of solar power systems, backup power units, and energy-saving installations will be an added advantage.
c. Plumbers
- Install and repair pipes, valves, fixtures and fittings.
- Identify and fix leakages, blockages, and faulty plumbing components.
- Install and maintain water heaters, pumps, tanks, and sanitary systems.
- Read and interpret plumbing blueprints and technical diagrams.
d. Carpenters
- Construct, install, and repair wooden structures, roofs, doors, windows, and furniture.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, sketches, and blueprints.
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately with attention to safety and detail.
- Maintain and use carpentry tools, machines, and materials safely and efficiently.
2. TRANSPORT
a. Drivers
- Valid driver’s license issued by Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA)
- At least a class A, B,C,D, F depending on the category of vehicles operated
- Class A: Motorbike riders
- Class B: Small cars and light-duty vehicles
- Class C/D: Vans, buses and medium-duty vehicles
- Class F: Heavy-duty truck and water tankers
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years of practical driving experience.
- Able to inspect, service, and maintain vehicles in good running condition.
- Knowledge of traffic regulations, road safety laws is required.
b. Emergency/Ambulance Drivers
In addition to general eligibility, applicants must be a certified emergency medical technician
c) Mechanics
- Must have practical knowledge and experience in the maintenance, repair, and servicing of vehicles such as:
- Cars and vans (Light Duty)
- Buses and trucks (Heavy Duty)
- Motorcycles and generators
- Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, replace damaged parts, and ensure vehicles are roadworthy.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance schedules and vehicle record keeping is desirable.
- Knowledge of engine systems, braking, suspension, and transmission systems is essential.
- Experience in using modern diagnostic tools and mechanical instruments is an added advantage.
d. Welders, Fabricators, /Auto Electricians/Auto AC Repairers and Sprayers
In addition to the basic requirement, candidates need to have at least two years in the field
3. TAILORS
- Demonstrate proficiency in garment construction, uniform production, and alteration of official clothing.
- Able to operate industrial sewing machines and handle various fabric types.
- Must have the ability to take accurate body measurements, cut patterns, and finish garments neatly.
- Experience in designing uniforms for public institutions or disciplined services.
- Additional training or certification from a recognized vocational or technical institution in Tailoring, Dressmaking, or Fashion Design is an added advantage.
4. COMMUNICATION TECHNICIANS
- Able to operate, maintain, and repair communication equipment, including radios, intercom systems, and network devices.
- Knowledge of signal transmission systems, radio frequencies, and data communication protocols.
- Have the ability to set up, troubleshoot, and maintain ICT or radio networks used in command operations.
- Familiar with basic computer systems, satellite communication, or HF/VHF radio systems.
- Understand communication security procedures and radio discipline.
- Experience in radio operations, ICT support, or technical maintenance in a security or communications environment is an added advantage.
5. COMPUTER HARDWARE
- At least a Technical or Vocational Corticate in Computer hardware, Electronics or IT support from a recognized
- Skilled in computer assembly, printers, repairs, and troubleshooting knowledge of network setup and diagnostics is an added advantage
6. SPORTS
Must be proficient in any of the fields below:

- Volley Ball
- Table Tennis
- Basket Ball
- Arm Wrestling
- Athletics
- Must pass sports specific trials during recruitment.
- Applicants affiliated with clubs and actively participating in recognized sports associations/leagues shall have an added advantage.
7. BAND
In addition to general eligibility, applicants must have the following:
- Proficiency in music
- Ability to read musical notation and play at least one instrument.
- Experience in performing with a recognized band, orchestra or church group is an added advantage.
8: AUXILIARY STAFF (Janitorial Workers, Gardeners)
- Ghanaian citizen by birth with no criminal record.
- Minimum age of 18 years and not more than 35 years by 31st December, 2025.
- Physically and medically fit. be of good character.
- Have a minimum height of 1.68m (5ft 6 inch) for males and 1.57m (5ft 2 inch) for females.
- Be able to read and write
