Role objective:
The role holder will analyze everyday financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to executive management to enable them to make sound business decisions and meet the company’s objective.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to Senior management while recommending a further course of action.
- Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
- Liaise with both internal and external auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of the company’s finances is maintained.
- Manage the preparation of the company’s budget.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Correspond with various departments, discuss plans, and agree on future paths to be taken.
- Develop trends and projections for the company’s finances.
- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the Company’s actual performance compared to the business plan.
- Manage the day-to-day running of the finance department
Conduct staff appraisal.
Role Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager
- Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and the general market.
- Proficient use of finance software.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
- First Degree in Finance and Accounting
- Must be a Chartered Accountant
