Once again, PassionAir is presenting a fresh career application. They are seeking Accounts/Finance Officers for General Accounting. The role handlers will be responsible for managing petty cash, maintaining general ledgers, and assisting in day-to-day accounting operations. Reporting to the Assistant Finance Manager – Reporting, these officers will ensure the smooth running of accounting processes in compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the petty cash system, including disbursements and replenishments.
- Record and maintain general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFS.
- Perform monthly reconciliations for assigned accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Track and record company expenses, ensuring proper categorization and documentation.
- Adhere to internal control procedures to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
Requirements:
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving and reconciliation abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in revenue management or accounting roles is an advantage.
Skills:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
