Export Trading Group (ETG) is advertising a new job vacancy for the position of Regional Finance Controller. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, a strong communicator, and have a proven track record of financial leadership in a complex and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall management of the accounting records and financial reports of the company, ensuring compliance with company, owner, statutory and fiscal requirements and timetable
- Compliance with the management agreement and any Owner/Lease agreement
- Provide an effective and efficient control through focused system of internal control
- Monitor compliance with company policy and accounting procedures
- Ensure legal and tax compliance and that adequate insurance cover is maintained
- Liaise and co-operate with both Internal and External audits and ensure that corrective action is taken where required
- Develop best practice financial accounting and control procedures
- Support and advise the management team on financial and commercial matters
- Manage the formulation, review, and approval of budgeting and strategic planning within the company, identifying value opportunities
- Ensure a regular cycle of forecasting is taking place with content and detail appropriate to the needs of the operation

Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant’s degree or Master’s degree in finance or accounting
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferable
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in financial management or related field
- Proven experience managing a team of finance professionals
- Experience in a multinational company with operations in Africa is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to travel frequently and work across multiple time zones
