Pulse Africa is announcing a new career opening for a Video Editor/Videographer to produce engaging video and photography content for its audience and clients. The successful candidate will handle filming, photography, editing and other production activities to deliver professional visual content.
The position is based in Ghana and is offered on a contract basis. Only one vacancy is available at the moment.
Key Functions
- Shooting and editing professional videos and photographs.
- Creating engaging videos with clear sequencing and smooth transitions.
- Setting up and maintaining video and photography equipment.
- Planning scenes, preparing production setups and rehearsing shoots.
- Reviewing scripts and providing creative input during filming.
- Advising on camera work, backgrounds and production techniques.
- Collaborating with team members and responding promptly to production instructions.
- Applying relevant technologies and industry best practices to improve production quality.

Qualifications
Candidates should have:
- A degree in Communication Design, Visual Communication Design, Fine Arts, Cinematography or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Video Editor.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or other relevant editing applications.
- Familiarity with motion graphics and visual effects.
- A strong creative portfolio and attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to multitask, collaborate with others and maintain professional standards.
