There is a new employment option available at XPress Gas. They are looking for an experienced B2C Operations Coordinator – Warehouse to assist full time in implementing the right processes across the unit to enable business growth. The ideal candidate will strive to assess the unit’s operational methods and propose ways to improve them. You will work at the company’s head office and report to the Head of Operations.

Accountabilities:
- Coordinate to receive LPG consignment in the bulk tank and inform Operation
Manager of stock levels and plan for restocking - Supervising warehouse staff and daily activities.
- Follows the standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Sets the shift schedule and daily assignments for the drivers and loaders.
- Develops and improves warehouse processes and procedures.
- Managing, evaluating and reporting on warehouse productivity.
- Ensures the team follows company policies and procedures.
- Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of empty, filled and discarded cylinders and other accessories.
- Ordering supplies and maintaining suitable inventory levels.
- Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
- Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.
Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety
regulations. - Communicating and coordinating with other departments and customer
- Coordinating and maintaining vehicle fleets and equipment
- Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds

Criteria:
- BSc in operations or supply chain management or business administration
- A minimum of 3 years proven experience in logistics or similar role
- Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or a similar management position.
- Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.
- Time management skills and the ability to delegate.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software.
- Problem-solving skills.
