Tullow Oil is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the vacancy of Quayside Supervisor. This person will join the Ghana Logistics & Materials team on a contract basis in Takoradi.
As the incumbent, you will manage safe and efficient supply vessel port operations, supporting offshore drilling and construction projects. You’ll coordinate labour, equipment, and material movements while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day port operations, ensuring timely discharge and loading of materials.
- Plan, prepare, and execute vessel cargo operations in line with Ghanaian and international regulations.
- Ensure manpower, equipment, and QA/QC compliance for all materials handled.
- Communicate effectively with onshore teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports for all cargo operations.
- Drive continuous improvement with logistics service providers.
- Mentor and develop team members; identify training needs.
- Perform additional tasks as required.

Experience & Education:
- Mandatory: HND or equivalent in a technical/industrial discipline, plus 5 years’ supervisory experience in an operational environment.
- Desirable: 5 years’ experience in port operations, ideally in oilfield logistics.
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and email communication.
- Strong managerial, project management, and team-building abilities.
- Valid driving license.
- Effective planning, coordination, decision-making, and delegation skills.
- Strong communication across all levels.
