About the SHS Placement 2022/2023

The Ministry of Education has announced to parents, guardians, students, and the general public that the 2022/2023 Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) into Senior High Schools (SHS)/Senior High Technical Schools (SHTS) and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Institutes is set to go live.

How To Check Your School Placement 2023

To access the placement platform, candidates are to follow the steps below:

Obtain/purchase a placement pin code (BECE Placement Checker) online or from an approved vendor.
After obtaining a pin code, log onto the site www.cssps.gov.gh to check the BECE Placement (All steps will be explained below)

How Much Is BECE School Placement Checker?

The Cost Of the BECE Placement Checker is GH₵ 13.00
The cost of BECE Placement Checker will be taken by an accredited vendor in exchange for the Placement Pin code.
In case you purchase with mobile money, it will be automatically deducted from your mobile money wallet right after payment.

How To Buy BECE Placement Checker 2022/2023

Visit the CSSPS website at cssps.gov.gh
Select buy e-voucher
Then enter your BECE index number and click “Buy BECE Placement”
Choose your payment method
You will be promoted to approve to make payment for your e-voucher.
An e-voucher code will be generated fir you to use to check your BECE School placement

Enter the Placement Checker short code *447*160# on your phone
Select 2 in the menu to choose (E-Voucher)
Select 2 again to choose (BECE)
Then Select 2 to choose (Placement Checker).
After here, select 1 to continue.
Input your name and the confirm your details and necessary details to buy your Placement checker via Mobile Money.
After payment, you will receive a text message or email confirming your purchase and your placement Checker Code

After Obtaining a Placement Checker Pin Code (refer to steps above) Visit the CSSPS Placement Checker Portal at https://www.cssps.org/
Click the check Placement Option on the CSSPS portal
Enter the ten-digit index number and add 21 as the year of completion. Eg: 123456789021
Enter the pin code details (serial number and pin)
Click on submit and wait for placement to be displayed
Print the form if you have been placed and visit the school to begin the admission process
The system will redirect you for self-placement, if not placed
