- Black stars to receive $1.5m from FIFA
- The senior national football team of Ghana, the Black Stars is set to receive a whooping $1.5m from the World’s football governing body FIFA.
- The reason for such an amount to be given the football team is by virtue of the team’s qualification to the World Cup.
- The disclosed amount is expected to aid the team in its preparations towards Qatar 2022.
Black stars to receive $1.5m from FIFA by virtue of the fact that the Black Stars have qualified for the 2022 World Cup.
This will help the team prepare effectively for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, which will take place later this year. Ghana will not be the only African country to receive the money; all African countries who qualified will receive the primary sum.
This was revealed in a recent tweet by Africa Facts Zone, who wrote: “To prepare for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, Ghana, Morocco, Senegal, Tunisia, and Cameroon will each get $1.5 million.”
As usual, some Ghanaians and other African countries ceased the opportunity to throw subtle shades and jabs at Nigeria. The reason being that it was Ghana that blocked her chance to feature in Qatar 2022.
Someone’s troll read, @TheAfiaSuka – “And Nigerians will receive generators to watch Ghana play. U guys think we’re done with you 🤣”
