Warehouse Manager needed at a Reputable Company for Employment

Job Description

Provides strong strategic direction for the management of inventory in the warehouse;
Oversees the effective and efficient maintenance of sheds and cargo-holding facilities within the warehouse;
Coordinates and supervises all warehouse logistics activities and reports on same;
Develops a proper Layout and Storage plan for efficient space optimization and utilization at all times;
Coordinates and enforces compliance with operational policies and procedures by all;

Ensures high warehouse safety, efficiency, productivity, and maintenance of quality standards;
Facilitates open communications between the Commercial, Shipping and Logistics Departments to ensure the efficient flow of materials for production and distribution;
Drives the materials management strategy in line with the goals and objectives of the warehousing functions;
Controls all stock movements, reconciliation and accountability;
Conducts effective performance management for subordinates, presents performance expectations clearly, addresses and resolve performance issues;
Assists in identifying training and knowledge gaps within the inventory management section and contributes to the development of suitable training interventions;

Produces and submits daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports on stock and operations as required;
Responsible for preparing and implementing daily and weekly operational plans with the appropriate schedules and budgets;
Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Must reside in Tamale and speak fluent Dabgani
